14-day free trial
Every new account gets a 14-day free trial so you can evaluate Clorvia before you pay. During the trial you can create invoices, record transactions, and try the GST, accounting and reporting features.
The trial is free and does not need a successful payment to begin. We will not charge you automatically when the trial ends.
You become a paying customer only when you choose a plan and complete payment. Because we give you this full trial period to assess whether Clorvia suits your business, please use the trial to test everything you need before you pay.
- Tip: check the data, formats and reports you need during the trial, since paid plans are generally non-refundable once a paid period starts (see "Refund eligibility").
How to cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time. There is no cancellation fee.
- Self-serve: log in to app.clorvia.com, go to Settings › Billing (or Subscription), and select Cancel subscription.
- By email: write to support@clorvia.com from the email address registered on your account, with the subject "Cancel subscription" and your account/workspace name.
Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal. We recommend you cancel before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle.
What happens at cancellation
When you cancel, your subscription is set to not renew. You keep full access to your paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for.
For example, if you cancel a monthly plan mid-cycle, you can continue using Clorvia until that month ends; we will not charge you again after that.
Cancelling stops future renewals only. By itself, cancelling does not trigger a refund of the current period. Refunds are governed by the "Refund eligibility" section below.
After your paid period ends, your account moves to a limited or read-only state. We retain your data for a reasonable period so you can export it or reactivate; data deletion follows our Privacy Policy and applicable law (DPDP Act 2023).
Refund eligibility
Because we provide a 14-day free trial to evaluate the service, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a paid period has started. This is fair to all customers and is permitted under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 where the service has been made available as described.
We do, however, offer refunds in the following situations:
- Goodwill window (new annual plans): if you bought a new annual subscription and you request a refund within 7 days of that payment, and you have not made substantial use of the paid service in that period, we will refund the annual fee. This applies to your first annual payment, not to renewals.
- Duplicate or erroneous charges: if you were charged twice for the same subscription, or charged in error due to a billing or technical fault on our side, we will refund the extra amount in full.
- Service not delivered: if you paid but, due to a proven fault on our side, the paid service was never made available to you (for example, your plan was not activated despite a successful payment), we will refund the affected period or fix the activation, at your choice.
Monthly/quarterly plans are non-refundable once the cycle starts, except for duplicate/erroneous charges or proven non-delivery. Add-ons, one-time fees and partially used periods are not refundable unless the law requires otherwise. Nothing in this policy limits any non-excludable right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
GST on refunds
Where GST has been charged on your subscription, any refund we approve is calculated on the base subscription fee.
If GST collected on your payment has already been remitted to the government, that GST portion may not be refundable to you, in line with applicable GST law. In such cases the refund covers the eligible base amount, and any GST adjustment is handled through a credit note or as the GST rules permit.
We will share a clear breakup of any refund (base amount and tax treatment) so your books and GST records stay accurate.
How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method through our payment gateway, Razorpay (covering UPI, cards, net-banking and similar methods). We do not refund to a different account or by cash.
Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days. The time for the money to appear in your account depends on your bank or UPI provider and is outside our control.
If a refund is delayed beyond the usual time, contact us with your payment reference and we will follow up with the gateway on your behalf. All refunds are subject to payment-gateway and applicable RBI norms.
How to request
To request a refund, email support@clorvia.com from your registered email address with the subject "Refund request". Please include:
- Your account/workspace name and registered email.
- The plan and amount paid, and the date of payment.
- The Razorpay payment ID or transaction reference (from your receipt).
- The reason for the request (for example: duplicate charge, annual plan within 7 days and unused, or service not activated).
We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and to decide on eligible requests promptly. We may ask for limited details to verify the charge before we process a refund.
